Resumen

The Argyrogrammana amalfreda group(Riodinidae: Symmachiini)fauna of the western Amazon is reviewed. Eighteen species are reported from the region, including three new species that are described here from Ecuador and Peru: A. lamasiAhrenholz & Hall, n. sp., A. maryanneae Ahrenholz & Hall, n. sp., and A. callaina Hall & Ahrenholz, n. sp. Three names are synonymized: A. sonazul P. Jauffret & Martins, 2006, with A. praestigiosa (Stichel, 1929), A. glaucopis virgata Brévignon & Gallard, 1995, with A. glaucopis (Bates, 1868), and A. nurtia ludibunda Brévignon & Gallard, 1995, with A. nurtia (Stichel, 1911) (n. syn.). A lectotype is designated for the name Argyrogramma nurtia
